About Me
I provide a collaborative, non-judgmental space to look honestly at what isn’t working, strengthen tools for managing difficult emotions, and practice skills that support meaningful change.
My approach is honest and direct, but also easygoing — clients often tell me they value having a space that feels supportive without being overwhelming or intense. My role is to support you in facing challenges directly while building skills you can carry into everyday life.
I hold a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University in Rehabilitation Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have additional training in Brainspotting and EMDR.
I am licensed in Rhode Island and Vermont.

SFBT is a short-term, goal-oriented approach that focuses on solutions rather than problems. It's especially effective for clients navigating specific challenges like decision-making, stress, relationship issues, or life transitions. Instead of digging deeply into the past, we’ll work together to clarify your goals and build on what’s already working—helping you take practical steps forward, even in just a few sessions.

EMDR is a structured therapy that helps you reprocess distressing memories so they’re no longer as emotionally charged. Using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain integrate past experiences in a way that feels more manageable.

Brainspotting is a neurobiologically-informed therapy that helps access and process deep emotional and somatic experiences by focusing on specific eye positions. These “brainspots” are linked to stored trauma in the body and nervous system. This approach can be especially effective for issues that feel hard to articulate, such as chronic stress, grief, or trauma stored physically in the body.

Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that helps you explore and resolve ambivalence — the feeling of being stuck between wanting change and feeling unsure how to begin. Instead of telling you what to do, MI supports you in identifying your own reasons for change and building confidence to take the next step, at your own pace.
